City of CreteCommunity Assistance Director The City of Crete is currently accepting applications for the position of Community Assistance Director. The minimum qualifications include: must be at least 18 years of age, hold of have the ability to obtain a valid Nebraska driver’s license, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in Spanish, and be able to legally perform work in the United States. Desired skills and elements include post high school coursework relevant to the success of the position, thorough background and understanding of Hispanic/Latino culture, ability to effectively communicate with and relate to various cultures represented in the Crete community, demonstrated ability to build consensus, resolve conflict, problem solve, and to garner the trust and confidence of the people seeking our services. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
